What is hemp derived cannabis?
Hemp, is a botanical class of cannabis grown specifically for industrial or medicinal use. Hemp "Cannabis Sativa L" contains less than .03% THC. There are many different types of cannabinoids and strains available
with each having its own unique effect on the mind and body. Some strains can give you a more relaxing experiences while others may give you more energy or focus.
What is Delta-8?
Delta 8 THC is a hemo derived cannabinoid that occurs in very low concentration from hemp CBD. Modern extraction methods have discovered methods of isolating this cannabinoid from hemp flower. You should try different strains and find the one that works best for you.
Are hemp derived products Legal?
Delta 8 THC became legal in most US states after the 2018 Farm Bill. As
described by section 297A of the bill, “The term ‘hemp’ means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds thereof and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.” Each state has its own laws set regulating hemp derived cannabis products — make sure to check your local state hemp laws before placing an order.
Will You Test Positive for THC?
Delta-8 is a form of THC derived from hemp. Drug tests look for traces of
Delta-9, but Delta-8 could show up as a positive for THC. Commercial drug tests don’t differentiate between cannabinoids. It is recommended if you have a drug test coming up, to avoid Delta-8 products.
